Some of the modalities I tend to pull from include: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Attachment Based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Narrative Therapy. I also find it beneficial to explore dynamics showing up in the therapeutic relationship and practice skills real time to promote experiential learning and practice.
