I received my Master's degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University and also hold a Bachelor's degree in International Business with a minor in French language. I have always been drawn to the helping profession and am passionate about helping people learn about and empower themselves to create a life of self-acceptance, healthy relationships and meaningful engagement. I specialize in EMDR therapy, which stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing; an evidence-based trauma recovery tool which has been shown to help people heal from distressing life experiences. I have gained diverse experience from work in various settings including outpatient mental and behavioral health, inpatient medical rehabilitation, residential adolescent recovery and in an alternative high school. I am originally from the east coast, grew up in Michigan and am happy to call Colorado home for over 9 years now. When I'm not with clients, I enjoy an active lifestyle hiking with my rescue dog and family, traveling, cooking and reading great books.
